Top notch high end shopping about a 45 minute drive away.
very expensive for luxe shops
Upscale Shopping and Dining, Chanel, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Carpaccio Restaurant, Salons
This is the place to shop for luxury items. Even a t-shirt is at least a few hundred dollars and is quite possibly spun from gold off the coast of Italy, at least in spirit anyway. All the labels are here, you know, the ones your country bumpkin cousin can't pronounce correctly. Of course, we all know that you are more than the label on your designer jeans, but it still feels nice to look good and the shops here won't disappoint.
There is no customer service! Everyone is on their phone or the employees talk amongst eachother! They don't listen to you & oversell you other items. It's way better just to shop online & chat with a rep. there. Waste of time to come here.. wish customer service was the way it was in the 70's, 80's/90's. Where everyone was happy at their job & not complaining about going home/bored. Management needs to relook at their hiring process!!
People from all over the world come to shop at the popular Bal Harbour Shops. This beautifully-landscaped outdoor mall is known for its high-end, designer shops like Fendi, Gucci and Marc Jacobs - just to name a few. But you don’t have to be shopping for a new Chanel bag to enjoy this mall. There’s plenty of nice restaurants here, too including the Japanese hot spot Makoto and the latest Grill at Bal Harbour serving delicious (and pricey) American food. The local bookstore chain Books & Books also has an outpost here that was just recently revamped into a bigger, better space that offers plenty of reading material offered in a charming and elegant setting.
