South Pointe Park

South pointe park is absolutely beautiful! I go there on my off days to hang out, ride the bike around, relax and enjoy the views! It’s also a really nice beach and super clear waters. Definitely check it out if you’re in the south beach area!

This park is in the southernmost tip of Miami Beach, also known as South Pointe. There is a long wide sidewalk bordering the ocean where many cruise ships pass and people do water sports, making this a very scenic atmosphere. The sidewalk, where people rollerblade, walk, run, bike or just hang out, connects to the boardwalk, which spans about fifteen blocks down South Beach. It’s a great touristy place to ride and people watch while enjoying the amazing views of the ocean. It’s also family friendly with a modern playground that has a soft ground and a climbing station.

This is a beautiful park located at the southern most point of South Beach. Great views of both the ocean and downtown Miami. The condos in the area go for more than $3000 per square foot.

On the southern tip of South Beach, South Pointe Park offers a beautiful view on the amazing blue of the ocean and the big cruise ships gliding past. Since there is a little strip of shops on the way from the parking lot to the beach, it is just the perfect spot for a relaxed family outing. Just bring your bathing suite, towels and sunscreen, everything else you can get once you are there. Rent a surfboard and sun chairs, later treat your kids to yummy Haagen-Dazs Ice-cream, while you enjoy a healthier snack or juice next door. There is also a little water park, a tot lot and a dog park. South Pointe is also fabulous for a stroll along the ocean. Don’t be surprised if you stumble into a film crew. This spot is just perfect for taking fabulous shots.

Watch the ships come in to port and then head over to Joe's Stone Crab or get Joe's takeaway and have a picnic in the park!
