Jiuhuangshan is located on the way to Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu. This area is home to the Qiang minority group and has many distinctive socio-cultural features which tourists may find interesting. While there, it is imperative to visit the old fort that would have housed residents during past times of turmoil and warfare. To the rear of the village, you will find the splendid Temple of Heaven with its Thousand Buddha Corridor and Hall of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. There is also a Qiang minority cultural exhibition and exciting animal performances. Dotted throughout the scenic area are numerous lovely and unique mountain caves. Among these, the most famous is perhaps the Yuanwang (King of the Apes) Cave. With its colorfully lit up stalactites and stalagmites, the cave is a paradise for photography lovers. Couples traveling together can walk hand-in-hand on a romantic stroll across the Lover's Bridge. Suspended on the gently swaying cable bridge, it is as if you are walking among the clouds.

Foye Cave is located in the northwest of Jiangyou City. It is a typical karst cave. It is one of the locations of the 86 edition of Journey to the West. According to legend, in the 23rd year of the Warlord Era, people found a stone statue in the dark river of Tongtian, so the name of the cave: Foye Cave. You can hear the sound of flowing water in the cave, and see the various forms of stalactites, coupled with colorful lights, very beautiful. Out of the Foye Cave is the back view of Foye Cave, where the scenery is beautiful and refreshing. Visitors can draw bamboo in the water, just like the “Jiangnan Water Town”.

The Qiqu Mountain Temple is a famous scenic spot in the northwest of Sichuan. Here is the perfect place to burn incense and pray for the Taoist culture. The old temple of Qiqushan was formerly known as “Wenchang Palace”, which is the special temple of Zhang Wenzi, the “Wenchang Emperor”. Therefore, every important exam such as the college entrance examination, there are many students and parents who come here to burn incense. From the gate of the Qiqu Mountain Temple, take the trail up the mountain. The Thunder Temple on the mountain is the commanding height of the whole mountain. It overlooks the surrounding area and has a good view.

There is a Yunyan Temple in the Mountain where you can see "Feitiancang" - the collection of the Taoist cultural relics. In the mountains, you can also see thrilling wire-walking performances in the air. Li Bai, the famous poet of Tang Dynasty, once visited here when he was young.
