This small deli was next to our hotel. We ate lunch there twice. It has very good sandwiches and daily special hot meals. There are tables for about 25-30 people and a friendly proprietor who seats you. As far as we could tell, it was a local lunch crowd of office workers and students. We seemed to be the only tourists.

We usually go on the local place for eat not near touristic attractions. It is good to eat where the locals eat. And we got the best pizza in town. Easy to find and easy to eat. House with tradition and good taste.

Had an early 8.15 viewing of the Last Supper in Santa Maria della Grazie, and we had had a very little breakfast at hotel. So after seeing the Last Supper we came out into a very wet Piazza ready for coffees etc. Bar Le Grazie was conveniently &amp; directly opposite so we went in and had coffees and croissants, which were very good, then my wife and her friend had a second coffee with a selection of small cakes, which they said were excellent. Staff were pleasant and service spot on. Reasonably priced.
