The Basilica of San Calimoro is of ancient origin and was built in the fifth century with the Temple of Apollo. Restored by the architect Angelocola in 1882, it is now presented in a neo-Romanesque style, decorated with gold and mosaics inside, and also provides valuable works of art to watch
The Roman style building with red brick walls looks a bit historic, and the dome inside is beautiful. The yellow light on the side wall can reflect on the top, and occasionally adorns the chandeliers. And a little man on the main hall is very small in front of the frescoes of the characters behind it. The feeling of the caves is a great display of the calm atmosphere.
A great tourist attraction, very interesting and free guides available
