Alarming customer approach. I suggest to not buy tickets, unless you are not 100% sure the performance will take place
With a great disappointment I have to share the experience with the La Scala customer approach. I booked premium tickets for the box for March 2020. Due to the COVID-19 situation the performance wa...
Build by the end of 18th century La Scala has been several times refreshed . And in a very good way. Sound is to the perfection. Seating is not the best, as many seats seem already quite used and do n...

My heart goes out to the City Of Milan every day during this trying time. Also sad is that I associate this with my much anticipated trip to La Scala, the Monumental Opera house of Milan. Unfortun...
Enjoy opera in its finest glory when you visit the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy. The current edifice, built in 1776 by Pietro Marliani, Pietro Nosetti and Antonio and Giuseppe Fe, is the home of the famous La Scala di Milano opera company, but you can also view a ballet at the La Scala Theatre Ballet. You can watch performances of Tosca or Der Ring by outstanding tenors and sopranos renowned throughout Italy for their talents. Take advantage of using the modern electronic monitors that enable you to read libretti in English and Italian.
You don't need to be an Opera expert to enjoy the best Opera Theatre in the world. If you can't find a ticket for a performance, at least visit the Museum. A real gem
A must do while you're there, L'opera is part of the cultural historical patrimoine of Italy. You must book your tickets EARLY !!
Inaugurated in 1778 and best known as an opera house, Teatro all Scala also presents ballet and other musical performances. Tickets are pricey but its an unforgettable experience to listen to a performance within its dazzling interior.
We saw a performance of Wozzeck at Teatro all Scala. The venue is jaw droopingly beautiful. If you're attending an opera performance in Milan, dress up (nylons, a black skirt, dressy top and nice heels will do for the ladies), but don't show up wearing a ball gown unless it's opening night!
