Visit the Prince’s Palace of Monaco
This is a great opportunity to see the state rooms of the Palace and learn more about the Grimaldi family and their heritage and history.
The palace showcases many works of art as well as the Royal Library and Chapel. The visit shouldn’t take longer than 45 minutes so definitely worth your time. To check prices and admission times follow their website.
Overall a great visit and would strongly recommend.
The price is affordable as well - 10 euros or 5 euros for students .The Palace is beautiful on the inside and worth visiting. Allocate 60-90 minutes

Change of the guard, Monaco 🇲🇨
#celebratewithtrip #monaco #montecarlo #palace #changeoftheguard
When we went to Monaco, we knew we will be going to see the change of the guard, so we planned our day accordingly.
The change of the guard was at 11:55 just outside the Palace.
Although not as impressive as the change of the guard at Buckingham Palace, it is still worth going on time for the spectacle.
There will be some crowd but we can’t say it was that crowded. In many terms the guards were fairly close to the people similarly to the change of the guard in Oslo.
You can see more about times and additional information on their website.

Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A backpacker in Monaco
To visit Monaco, I travelled to the city of Nice, 15 kilometres west of this country. If you buy a ticket at the right time, you can get to Nice by train and bus from various European cities such as Milan, Italy (between 20 and 30 euros) and Paris, France (between 25 and 45 euros). There are also flights to Nice from various Schengen countries, operated by Ryanair, Wizz Air and EasyJet, which are sometimes cheaper than buses and trains (because of the flexibility you have in choosing your time and route). The train from Nice airport and the Intercity bus station (next to Terminal 1 of the same airport) to the city centre costs less than 2 euros.
As it is much cheaper to stay in Nice than in Monaco, it makes sense to stay in Nice. When I saw that booking a room at the Hotel de Berne for two people was cheaper than the cost of two beds in a hostel (the total cost for two people is 45 euros per night), we chose this hotel to stay (as opposed to my usual practice of staying in a hostel). It should be noted that the published statistics and costs refer to 27 January 2023, and these costs may change (be more or less) in different seasons or in the coming years.
At sunrise we went to the Nice-Ville station, just 150 metres from our accommodation, to catch the train to Monaco. A one-way ticket from Nice to Monaco and vice versa costs 4 euros each and departures are from around 6am to 11pm (every half hour). We arrived at Monte Carlo station in about 15 minutes and the sightseeing of Monaco began.
Although Monaco was not a common destination for backpackers like us, we did not feel out of place at all.
Best places to visit:
Monte Carlo Casino, Un Jardin d'acclimatation, Port of Monte Carlo, The Prince's Palace of Monaco, Saint Nicholas Cathedral, Oceanography Museum

Always in Paradise when in Monte-Carlo! 😍
Monte Carlo--named after after Prince Charles III, who was behind it's, construction in the ninth century.
It is situated on a prominent escarpment at the base of the Maritime Alps along the French Riviera.

Monaco is famously the playground of the rich
Monaco is famously the playground of the rich and famous, despite being the world's 2nd-smallest nation. Spanning just 200 hectares, this historic principality features grand casinos, designer malls, opulent bars and clubs, and a human-made beach, attracting celebrities and vacationers year-round.
dont miss to visit monte-carlo monaco it is 30 mins drive from Nice France😍😍😍#luxuryyacht#rich&famous#formula1cars
Monaco's dreamy azure coast vacation, you are my god!
Hi, the Mid-Autumn National Day holiday is coming soon👋, I want to share a super 🔥 secret with you: my long-cherished Monte Carlo seaside resort!✨
This trip is simply a dream come true!🌈 I came to Monaco's "Monte Carlo Secret Hotel" this time, and booked a very interesting parent-child suite early, as if I were in a dream world!
I have to mention that the hotel's V.I.K parent-child service is very intimate, and has prepared many welcome gifts for the children who stay, such as fresh juice, chocolate lollipops🍭 and coloring sets. Game room, chessboard, mini football field, simply children's favorite!
Opposite the Oceanographic Museum here, you can also take a sightseeing train to tour Monaco and feel the charm of this "City of Princes"! If you drive by yourself, you can reach the old town of Nice in 35 minutes. The surrounding short-distance South France tour is very convenient
In the morning, I will wake up in the sound of the waves, and then admire the incomparable super beautiful sea view🍽️ on the balcony. In the afternoon, I will participate in water experience courses, such as surfing and diving, etc., and feel like I have become an adventurer!🏄♀️ If you are tired, arrange a hydrotherapy SPA to completely relax yourself😎 .
Dinner specially went to check in a super fire🔥 Michelin three-star restaurant "Monte Carlo Louis XV-Alain Ducasse Restaurant", I heard that there will be a flash event during the National Day in Sanya Edison. The Michelin two-star chef of Blue Bay will be on the scene to cook. Don't miss the foodies!
Facing such a beautiful sea view, wine and music are a perfect match🍻, the signature cocktail super great jazz style American bar, the hotel's Crystal Bar and outdoor wine lounge...
This "legendary everywhere" place interprets a unique lifestyle for a century, and the entire azure coast gives an indescribable shock experience.
The service of the entire resort is top-notch! Their enthusiasm made me feel very warm🥰
I want to strongly recommend this hotel to all friends who like luxury vacations and beautiful sea views! You will definitely fall in love with this dreamy vacation treasure!

Monaco City Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The European country of the country Monaco
the entire country is very small, but rich in oil, the number of luxury cars on the street is numerous. Built along the coast of the mountain, so most of the country's roads are mountain roads, and Chongqing is really similar ~ and the rugged streets have become one of the four famous F1 racing tracks, the Monte Carlo track is very challenging.
The city built towards the sea, the morning sun rises along the coastal plane, warm...but the only thing that is puzzling is that the Europeans are too inefficient, and the road construction is done at night...the result is still spraying during the day. Paint, what a bad night
The city of Monaco, known as Le Rocher, is the best preserved medieval street in Monaco today. I often come to Monaco, bathe in the sunshine here, and don't need to take time to punch in various attractions. I like to walk on the old streets in such a purposeless manner, and come and laugh with the tourists coming and going.
In the medieval streets here, every place can be a place for photography. The quaint streets, the spectacular marble buildings, and the fast-moving luxury cars allow you to take different styles of beauty!
Located on the observation deck beside the Royal Palace of Monaco, it is the best place to enjoy the whole city of Monaco. It is a good place to enjoy the beauty of the city of Monaco in the afternoon, or to enjoy the night view at night. s Choice.
It's true, and it's a very good location!
Monaco does not have a race track because their streets are built to the standards of the car. There are many world-class racing events every year, including Formula One.
When I went there, I just caught up with the game and it was very lucky. Because Monaco is too small, if you catch up with the game, no matter where you are in Monaco, you can hear the deafening roar, you will never miss it.
When Monaco hosts a racing competition, there are a lot of seats that are free to the public. For example, the location opposite my Monte Carlo Casino. This place where you can see the sea and see the iconic buildings of Monaco, and it is still a corner, it is free! God, it's unbelievable!
But the location here is very limited, so go to the queue as soon as possible.
The second smallest country in the world, Monaco, can walk around 1-2 hours, but it is beautiful but the area is only 0.0002 million square kilometers. Let's just say... a Qingdao has 5,650 Monaco plus so much...

Monaco travel info and tips
#celebratewithtrip #monaco #montecarlo #transport #traveling
We travelled from Nice to Monaco by train. Trains are almost every half and hour and are very accessible. You can check times and prices..
Word of advice, as you arrive at the train station find the lifts that take you down to the city as the main station is at Monaco’s highest point and unless you have a car you will have to walk all the way down. We obviously did the latter. Lesson learned.
Transportation in Monaco is fairly easy with public transport and you will mainly use buses. There is also a boat service connecting Monaco-Ville with Monte Carlo.

📍Skogafoss, Iceland 🇮🇸
With an intimidating 60 meter drop, Skogafoss is one of Iceland’s biggest waterfalls and it is also one of the most accessible waterfall in the area. One tip we have for visiting in winter - take microspikes so you can easily walk around the waterfalls.
Whisked away to a medieval dream 🏰✨
