The train station is not big and easy to find, inside a cave with lots of lights and looks like stars, it is beautiful
Monaco-Monte Carlo is the only railway station in the Principality of Monaco, although part of the station is located in Bossolaire, France. It is served by the French operator SNCF train on the Marseille － Ventimilia railway line. The station, and the entire line of the principality, is underground. The line from Marseille arrived in Monaco in 1868. The station, originally Monaco, was renamed Monaco-Monaco in the 1950s after the construction of a new tunnel bypassed the second SNCF station, Monte Carlo. In the early 1990s, it was decided to completely divert the railways underground and to establish a new station near the centre of Monaco, which was opened on 7 December 1999 and has since replaced the previous ground station.
Monaco does not have an airport, but it can be reached by train or by car. It takes less than an hour to come from Cannes by train, and it's about the same by car. Monaco itself is a small place, and the train station is not far away. It can be walked and the bus is also very convenient.
Monte Carlo train station is a train station built directly in the cave, the interior decoration is very golden, very modern design and the old European architecture combined feeling, the first arrival, definitely give you a kind of spiritual shock and surprise.
This is a tunnel train station, the platform is very long. Usually, only 4 ～ 5 cars from Nice to Monaco are very dissatisfied with the platform (about 3 minutes walk in two passages). There is a lift out of the station, I am a little dizzy for the first time to Monaco... Nice to Monaco every day there are many shifts, car city about 30 minutes.
