The Peru Garden, built in the 18th century, is a traditional royal promenade. It consists of four small gardens. In the center is a statue of Louis XIV. There is a beautifully shaped water tower on the upper part of the north, and the water comes from the Saint-Clermont Canal. From the water tower, you can enjoy the panoramic view of northern Montpellier and the magnificent Cévennes mountain range in the distance. It takes about 20 minutes to walk northwest from the railway station.
A very atmospheric open park with sculptures, water towers and spectacular aqueducts, just opposite the Arc de Triomphe
Although it is not big, it is very empty. In the middle is the equestrian statue of Louis XIV. In the back is a European-style pavilion. In the park, someone has been pulling a piece of paper and asking you to sign.
