This restaurant is a great restaurant with great environmental food! The staff were very attentive and introduced us to the plates, we picked the dishes and then helped us choose a bottle of wine that was very good with live jazz music, icing on the cake!
The environment is small like a family workshop, if more people can order a large meat platter, including pork, chicken, beef, etc., basically are barbecued, with some fresh roasted tomatoes.
Our hotel staff recommended the Modavie restaurant to me, beyond our expectations! First we experienced a very warm, friendly welcome from the foreman Lorenzo of the Modavie Hotel. Lorenzo was fun and gregarious and he was very accommodating when we asked to replace the table that had just sat next to the fireplace (the fireplace was very comfortable but too hot!) The staff that served us, Rachelle provided excellent service while checking it carefully with the kitchen, To meet our gluten free requirements. I ordered lamb chops, which was the best meal I've had in my life, a must-order on the menu! The live jazz for dinner provided a wonderful entertainment background, while we enjoyed a wonderful meal.

I was in Montreal for a domestic / international conference and it was a great pleasure to be able to eat at this restaurant. The owner, Lorenzo, personally welcomed us and personally made sure we were satisfied with our table and the service. The chef here is amazing (and very good for the lamb chops, salmon and pasta he made) We were all super happy with the food. The caramel pudding is the best pudding in the world.
