After spending time in a city, it's always interesting to see what the city used to be and how it came to be that way. A self-proclaimed history nerd, the Centre d'histoire de Montreal is one of my favourite places in the city. Fittingly located in the heart of Old Montreal, this museum has tons of old photos, maps and artifacts that help to tell the story of Montreal. While its not a very large museum, it's perfect for stopping in, taking a look and maybe even hearing a story or two. Admission is on the uber cheap side at $6 (students, seniors and little ones get to take advantage of an even better discount).

This museum about the history of Montreal is appropriately located in Vieux Montreal. It is quite family friendly with easy to view displays and some interactive features explaining the history of one of Canada's oldest cities.
Walk on the historical corridor and feel the breath here. The history of each country records its past. We have been studying history since junior high school, to understand how our own country was before? It took so many hardships to have us today. Therefore, in modern society, we should love our country and develop our country. After walking through thousands of mountains and rivers, our group came to Montreal and came to Centre d'Histoire de Montreal. Walking on this historical corridor and visiting the history here does not give me a little touch. This place gathers the history of Montreal and records their lives. There are many tourists who come here to visit, and everyone is very impressed. interest. I feel that after I came here, I learned a lot of knowledge that I couldn't learn in books, and the culture of history is really not based on rote memorization, but a deep memory after I understand it. Since I am in a foreign country, I still don’t understand the people here. Haha, it’s a bit embarrassing. Fortunately, we have a young lady as a tour guide. She is not only beautiful, but also very interesting when she explains it to us. , With her own characteristics, let us listen very attentively, and I have learned many different cultures in a subtle way.
