Whales galore!
Fabulous trip! We went past the lighthouse on a whale-watching cruise. The middle of July and there were many whales in the Bay. Quite a few showed their tails (presumably as a part of their diving)...

Just off the walk
Take the Ellen Cove boardwalk from Middleton Beach. Then about 1.5 km into a nice walk, you can explore these ruins and rocks - it is just off the track. Worth a stop.
