Liangshan Prefecture
Xichang Visit the ancient temples in the mountains of Shanghai!.
🔸This Lushan is not that Lushan, Lushan is also known as Frog Mountain, it is one of the provincial scenic spots in Sichuan, known as the "Southern Sichuan Scenic Area".
🔸There are ancient trees on the mountain, and there are Guangfu Temple, Mengduan Shrine, Sanjiao Nunnery, Ancestor Hall, Guanyin Pavilion, Queen Mother Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Qingyang Palace, Wuzu Nunnery and other ancient temples built in the Han, Tang, Ming, and Qing dynasties hidden in the dense shade. These ancient temples belong to Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. Although their doctrines, philosophical thoughts, etc. are not the same, they can live in harmony in a mountain for thousands of years, and each teaches their own teachings, which is rare in the country, and unique.
🔸Here is the spiritual clock, and it is also praised by monks and Taoists as a good mountain for enlightenment. More than a dozen Buddhist temples and Buddhist palaces are scattered in the dense forest, and the ancient temple buildings are built according to the situation, each occupying a secluded place, majestic and spectacular, with carved beams and painted buildings, which are fascinating. It is often said that "Guanyin Pavilion is winding and winding, Yaochi Palace is high and sunny, Jade Emperor Hall is dangerous and majestic, and Wuzu Nunnery is secluded and deep". Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism built temples on a road in the mountain, there are five temples on the mountain, four Taoist temples, a total of nine ancient temples, reflecting the religious purpose of "three religions in one" of Empress Wu of the Tang Dynasty. Emei is all Buddha, Qingcheng is pure Tao, only Xichang Lushan is unique, Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism coexist, forming a tourist attraction where natural and cultural landscapes gather.
🔸Ming Dynasty's top scholar Yang Shengan stayed in Lushan on the night of the Torch Festival. After seeing the beautiful scenery of Lushan and the grand occasion of the Torch Festival, he chanted the famous verse here: "The old man stays in Lushan tonight, and the sky gate is not closed at night. Who smashed the universe, the stars fell to the earth".
🔸The main peak of Lushan (Shamao Xiang) is 2317 meters above sea level, with a relative height difference of about 800 meters from the surface of Qionghai, and it is about eight kilometers from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. Lushan Mountain is strange and beautiful, with towering ancient trees. It is the natural green barrier of Xichang. There are many rare species of animals and plants in the forest. There is the Jiu Long Han Cypress, one of the ten "Bashu Tree Kings" with a history of two thousand years. It is unique in the world.
In the Xichang Bohai Lushan Scenic Area, there is a temple, which is very worth everyone to check in, that is, Guangfu Temple. Now the bus to Guangfu Temple is gone, everyone needs to climb up by themselves, but the distance to climb is not very far. I basically took 15-20 minutes to get here slowly. There is a very broad platform in front of Guangfu Temple, overlooking the entire Bohai Sea and also overlooking Xichang. I think this is one of the reasons many people will come here. The whole temple is very quiet, very Buddhist feeling, there are many trees inside, very large, listening to the temple monk introduction, when the Lushan fire, immediately burned to the temple, but was extinguished. If you have time to visit the temple, it is definitely a recommended attraction in Xichang.
I have come to Xichang City, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture many times and have been to Guangfu Temple. This five-day tour of Panxi area is mainly to go to the ancient city of Huili. Due to time constraints, I only worship at the foot of the mountain.
Located on the shore of the Bohai Sea and above the Busan Mountain, it is a famous local Buddhist monastery built on the mountain, with a large scale, the temple temples and temples, the Sanskrit music, the religious atmosphere is rich, and there is a thousand-year-old tree, which witness its history.
The Lushan Scenic Area (free), visited the Guangfu Temple (5 yuan), the Yi Culture Museum (not open); the most interesting is the unexpected encounter of several wild monkeys in the mountains and forests, which will suddenly appear on the roof, corners or intersections. They are not alone in the tourists around the big swaying, cautious and cleverly accepted the tourists feeding food, after eating, see the tourists no longer give, only three steps back and away, the land disappeared into the forest. You can see many cute little squirrels jumping and jumping in the trees. The viewing platform in the middle of the mountain has a panoramic view of the Bohai Sea.
Guangfu Temple monkeys eat cherry blossoms, not afraid of tourists, do not pay attention to the plastic bag you brought, think there is food in it, feed do not let it see there is still leftover, otherwise it will be miserable, spiritual super good, will peel the peel. Tickets are 3 yuan, and the sightseeing tickets up and down the mountain are 2 yuan. I am afraid that there are few domestic sightseeing tickets so cheap in the scenic area.
The temple is halfway up the mountain in Lushan. When I went, I was building the Temple of Heavenly Kings. The temple is very large in size, with Tibetan Jing Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion, and other buildings. The architectural colors have Tibetan religious characteristics and vegetarian dishes can be provided. There are really many monkeys on the mountain, and they have to be a harm.
