Gateway Of India Mumbai Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Mumbai
I was really surprised with mumbai. Before I planned my trip, everyone suggested me not to go to Mumbai, because India is much more than that, so my expectations were really low. After to be there it wasn’t that bad, it was my first contact with the country and I love it, but being honest if you have 15 days to visit places in India, you should skip Mumbai. #2023travelwish #india #mytripvlog #travelinspiration

Koh Chang Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
After the double baptism of the Ajanta and Ellora caves, we did not have much interest in the smaller caves in the island, but the inner obsessed with ancient art made us not easily give up every place. World heritage, tangled and discussed for one night, we decided to come.
Island is the site of Shiva. Although it has been deliberately destroyed by the Portuguese, its scale has become very small, but its landscape and artistic appeal can still compete with any of the most famous caves in the world. .
Especially the 6-meter-high Shiva three-faced, this is the most beautiful single sculpture I have ever seen in South Asia. The front represents the creator and the look is solemn; the left side represents the destroyer, the face is stunned; the right side represents the guardian God, with a smile. One person has replaced Brahma and Vishnu, and has three functions. This kind of sculpture is the only one.
Traffic Raiders:
Island cruise ship is purchased at the entrance of India Gate Square, 150 rupees round trip, don't go to the window where many Indians line up, there is a ferry that sells to the other side. The song window to go to Koh Chang is basically very few people. When buying a ticket, be sure to see that there is an Elephanta Island written on the window. After buying a ticket, enter the square and don't go to the pier where many Indians line up. Go to the back of the India Gate. Usually, the boat is full and there is no queue.
It takes 80 minutes for a one-way trip to Koh Chang, and it takes about 4-5 hours to get back to Mumbai.
Elephanta Caves
#2024wish
The Elephanta Caves are a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on Elephanta Island in Mumbai Harbor, Maharashtra, India. The caves are renowned for their rock-cut architecture, intricate sculptures, and historical significance.
Dating back to the 5th to 7th centuries AD, the Elephanta Caves consist of a series of cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The main cave, also known as the Great Cave, features an impressive array of sculptural panels, pillars, and shrines depicting various aspects of Hindu mythology and religious themes.
The highlight of the Elephanta Caves is the colossal Trimurti sculpture of Lord Shiva, which stands at the entrance to the main cave. The sculpture portrays Lord Shiva in his three aspects: as the creator (Brahma), preserver (Vishnu), and destroyer (Shiva), representing the cosmic cycles of creation, preservation, and destruction.
The Elephanta Caves are considered one of the finest examples of ancient rock-cut architecture in India and attract visitors from around the world who come to admire their beauty, craftsmanship, and spiritual significance.
To reach the Elephanta Caves, visitors need to take a ferry from the Gateway of India in Mumbai, which typically takes about an hour to reach Elephanta Island. Once there, visitors can explore the caves and immerse themselves in the rich history and culture of ancient India.

BB Divers …. best choice for snorkelling in Koh Chang
BB Divers in Koh Chang offered the best snorkelling experience. I have been snorkelling in many places but none provided the type of service as BB Divers.
For THB 1000 they pick you up at your hotel in the West Coast of Koh Chang, fitted you for snorkelling with fins and life jacket. depart bang bao on time and on a big boat so no rocking in the waves. we headed out to the marine park and was able to snorkel for 3 rounds ranging anywhere from 30 min to an hour each. the guide Jackie was great. he pointed out giant clams, Christmas tree slugs, blue stingrays, colorful corals. I will return and BB Divers is definitely my choice.
Trat to Koh Chang …. no hassle
Only Bangkok Airways service Bangkok to Trat. there are 2 flights a day. once arrive at Trat Airport, there is airport info counter where you can arrange for transport to your hotel in Koh Chang. it costs THB650 one way but if you know your return date it is better to buy round trip transfer for THB1.200. Then you will board a minivan (very comfortable) and taken to the pier for ferry to Koh Chang. airport to pier is about 20 min and ferry ride to Koh Chang is 30 min. there is coffee and snacks on sale on the ferry. once arrive in Koh Chang, the van will take you to your hotel on the West coast of Koh. it takes anywhere between 10 min to 30 min depending on where is your hotel. overall, hassle free.
