Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum

I visited this museum many times with different friends. It is a beautiful historical building, once the Victoria and Albert Museum, now renamed. It shows many handicrafts from India that show different crafts. They are free to visit on weekends.

Mumbai City Museum has preservation materials at different times in Mumbai. On the first floor, there are exquisite antiques and statues, which are well displayed, well maintained buildings, and a beautiful staircase and a chandelier are worth visiting. However, there are no interesting exhibits on the second floor. Most of the exhibits are ornaments made of animal horns.

After many decorations, city museums are becoming more and more attractive. The buildings are as magnificent as palaces, and the management is very good. There are many treasures in the museum, such as porcelain, oil paintings, statues and antiques. You can spend half an hour here or four hours studying the flood of beautiful objects. Tip: Since this museum is not in the city center, you should arrange (that is, bargaining crazy), rent a taxi, let the driver wait for you, and then drive you back. We stayed in Coraba and arranged for him a price of Rs 700, but gave him Rs 900 due to his excellent driving and service.

Mumbai City Museum itself is a very beautiful cultural relic. It has a history of more than 100 years.
