it is very recommended to visit this very huge park. i went there on spring time but i think it will be perfect to go in summer time. but even in spring you can see people surfing there. such a unique Activity to surf there.

Throwback to the sunny Sunday in Munich, the famous Chinese Tower and the river surfing
Looks like just another garden but no, this is where you can suntan by the mini-waterfall along Isar bank from MaximilianStraße, or just sit amongst the green carpet and soak in the warmth as spring seeps in, a lovely way to spend your weekend.
I love the spacious English Garden in Munich. Don't miss the cool surfers catching some waves or the lively beer garden located at the Chinese pavilion.
The Englischer Garten (English Garden) is Munich’s (and Germany’s) largest city park, covering over 910 acres of lush landscaped parks, streams and lakes. Miles and miles of trails, walks and bridle paths. Perfect for picnics, birdwatching, people watching and just breathing fresh air.
