The Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall is located at a mass grave at one of the sites of the Nanjing Massacre. It uses a combination of historical artifacts, architecture, sculptures, films and historical documents to exhibit the Nanjing massacre. For China, the memorial museum enshrines their sadness and rage, while honoring victims who perished in Nanjing during the war between China and Japan in World War Two. The exhibition consists of three parts: an outdoor exhibit, an exhibit of historical documents and an exhibit of skeletal remains. The outdoor exhibit includes a cross-shaped monument that commemorates the time of the massacre, a "Wailing Wall" listing the names of the victims, a large stone statue of a mother, and the "mass grave" site etc.
