One of my favourite hang out places in Nanjing. Wonderful nature where you can be alone in peace or come with a group of friends. It is great for anyone. Especially sunset time, against the lake it is a stunning view

Xuanwu Lake is a royal garden lake that lies at the foot of Mount Zhongshan. It is one of the "Three Great Lakes of Jiangnan", along with the Jiaxing South lake and Hangzhou West lake. The lake has five islets and numerous scenic spots and historical sites. When you take a boat or stroll around the lake, seasonal flowers can be seen. The combination of the lake and mountains form a beautiful landscape for visitors to enjoy.
