The garden is not very big, about an hour can be visited, the rockery is spectacular, and you can see it everywhere, the rockery is like a maze, very interesting, worth a visit
The child likes the lion forest very much and is very happy to shuttle in the rockery. Probably an hour of play time is enough. Except for a little bit of people, everything else is pretty good. The off-season may be better. The scenery is good.
It's a lovely place to visit. A classic Suzhou garden and the housing that are attached to it. Well described historical markers and delightful examples of bonzai trees everywhere. Gorgeous stained glass windows. The rock garden was exquisite. As always, visiting during a national holiday is not recommended as it's insanely crowded.
One of the four major gardens in Suzhou, named after the rockery. I didn't feel anything special when I first entered, and I didn't appreciate its wonderfulness. In the Lion Forest, you can also see the family of the shell family. This home was built by Mr. Bei Xuming's grandfather, Bei Runsheng, to commemorate the ancestors of the family and inherit the family culture.
