Pompey’s theater looks very similar in shape to the Bacchus Theater on the Acropolis. But due to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, within a short time, the entire ancient city of Pompeii was buried by volcanic ash. After thousands of years, the amphitheater was excavated. It can be seen that under the cover of volcanic ash, this theater is well preserved. It is far from the Bacchus Theater in Athens, which looks completely ruined.
