The entire museum is an intuitive window for the locals to understand the slave trade in the Caribbean. Seeing the living handcuffs and headbands appearing in front of the dark exhibition hall, and then looking at some specific dates next to them, the shock is hard to describe in words. Nowadays, there are some art works about slavery on display here, if you want to understand the history of the Bahamas, you must come here.

    Amazing history- all visitors should visit

    Excellent museum. Told the history of slavery in Bahamas in a very informative way. Staff there very helpful and interested in sharing stories. A must do when in Nassau.
