Built by architect Paul Ferdinand Gross in the late 19th century. The Redeemer Church is currently used by Lutheran groups in Arabic, German, Danish and English. It is also the headquarters of the Evangelical Lutheran bishops of Jordan and the Holy Land. The church was built in1892-1898 years and the land was given to King William I of Prussia by Abdulaziz I of the Ottoman Empire in 1869.
