We had wines and small bites and plates and more wine, paired by the skilled bar tenders. Order larger plates with salad and smoked eel. And ultimately paired truffles with a dessert wine. We spend more than 2 hours perched on chairs as the room got noisier and nosier but our small group of 4 managed to maintain our intimacy. The ambiance is charming; the value relative to the quality of the food is stunning. It is not inexpensive but what you get is excellent and the wines are beautifully paired. I have NEVER had a truffle and a dessert wine paired so brilliantly and to such a result. I didnt have to eat again for hours.

This pizza shop is located on Carmike Street in New York City&#39;s Soho District, opposite Demo Father&#39;s Square Park, so don&#39;t worry about the restaurant being difficult to find, because you can see people queuing just walking around the park, which is a good restaurant sign. This pizza restaurant is more than 40 years old, because the pizza is thin and crisp, the filling is delicious and the price is very cheap, and it is sought by local residents and tourists. Don&#39;t give up because of the large queue, in fact, the queue moved very quickly, we only queued for 10 minutes that day.

I told my brother to pick a healthy restaurant where I could get a big salad with a nice piece of salmon, and Westville Hudson was perfect!! I loved having such delicious veggies as an appetizer, and my main was so filling, I couldn&#39;t finish it. Great atmosphere, friendly crowd!

I had heard many good things about this place but have not had a chance to go check it out. So when a handsome gentleman asked me on a date and asked if I would like to go to The Clam for dinner I jumped at the chance. First off the restaurant is beautiful and romantic without being pretentious. There is a shimmery mother of pearl looking ceiling white table cloths and dark beautiful hardwood floors. With flowers and candles sprinkled throughout the room. Perfect date night spot, or even first date spot. Then the food comes and I want to die! Everything from the mixed spring vegetables dressed with anchovy butter to the succulent white spicy clam pizza (Which I didn&#39;t think I was going to like, but I loved it!) to the perfectly done salmon. I could not have asked for more flavor. I didn&#39;t asked for salt or pepper or any other condiments for my meal. None were needed. If your a seafood lover, or even if your not (They have a good some good non seafood items on the menu) go check this place out. It is my new fav spot in west village for sure; maybe even all of downtown. But make sure to make a reservation because it is tiny!

I recently came across LelaBar after leaving The Clam next door(after a bad visit to THE CLAM). LeLaBar is a small space w/ the large oval bar taking up most of the room. The staff is OUTSTANDING to say the least.....the quality of all the plates were consistently excellent on all 3 of my recent visits. And the wine list so extensive that anyone will find something to their taste. The best part were the staff w/ knowledge about everything that was served - both wine &amp; food. And again they were professional &amp; nice - they obviously enjoy their work. Another special aspect is that on Sunday nites there is a jazz combo playing from 7:30 on. I am very happy to of found in my neighborhood place like LelaBar and can enjoy it solo or with friends. I actually hesitated to write about it because somethings you just want to keep for yourself!

This is a neighborhood joint with a flair. The wine selection is quite pleasant and the food a real treat.
