Wonderful neighborhood restaurant, with fresh entrees...and a fish and chips that is so fresh and burgers that are so moist. Roast chicken is always a treat....portions very generous...and French fries that are NOT GREASY. The waitress and table men are very attentive...water is always replenished....the owner Luigi is &quot; hands on&quot; and make EVERYONE entering feel welcome. It used to be &quot; cash only&quot; but now accepts credit cards....making it so much easier for the diner. Stop by and enjoy a delicious meal...you will not be sorry.

Luke's Bar and Grill

Went here for dinner on a Saturday night and the place was packed to the brim! Was seated at around 9pm to a very lively and pumping atmosphere reminiscent of downtown lounges. My friends and I ordered a handful of dishes and were equally impressed with each. Our server was also very friendly and explained the menu in detail. Very satisfied with my experience here.

Wonderful service, and off 2nd Ave. a great place to get a wonderful meal at a good price and not overly crowded. Has outdoor seating as well for the warmer months

Take a quick trip to Paris in this Upper East Side French restaurant. Jacques links like it has been in Paris for years even though it is in New York City. French music waifs through the two dining rooms. The first room has a bar along with casual tables for drinking or eating along red leather banquets and a white table cloth section for somewhat more formal seating. A large room adjacent to the first room has large tables The interior decor has that wonderful brasserie look. A good menu offers many French favorites and several selections of mussels. While not haute cuisine, the food is flavorful and perfect for a causal yet enchanting dinner. The crowd is mostly well dressed locals but is far from stuffy.

This is where I meet my friends for a quiet understated lunch in the East 80s. Luke&#39;s is not a jet set, hipster hangout. It is a really down to earth, honest to goodness neighborhood hangout, the kind that is slowly vanishing in Manhattan. The service is understated, the salads, burgers and sandwiches are very good, and there is an ample selection of beers on tap and by the bottle.

We were pleasantly surprised by Luke&#39;s Bar and Grill. The reviews aren&#39;t stellar but we were going on vacation (= empty refrigerator) and we needed dinner so we figured we would give Luke&#39;s a try. We had: Veggie Burger with Olive Tapenade - extremely good Hamburger - very good Onion Strings - very good, reminiscent of the onion loaf I used to get from Tony Romas. All it needed was some BBQ sauce and we were in business! Mac n Cheese - my girls were fighting over it. The next time we don&#39;t know where to order from, we will definitely give Luke&#39;s another shot!!
