The 9/11 Memorial was built in the original World Trade Center in New York. The memorial was destroyed by the terrorist attack planned by Bin Laden on January 11, 2001. Ordinary people were killed and injured very much and miserably. I'm still calling for turning swords into plows.
Can't help but make people extremely heavy No matter in the World Trade Center on 9/11 Innocent lives killed in Pennsylvania or the Pentagon The solemn design is rich in historical materials Reshape and restore the 9/11 incident from multiple perspectives No drama and flood of emotions Many are calm, thoughtful and blessed Occupies a vast area Built on the original 911 site There is a spectacular pool outside Worth a visit Educational significance
The National 9/11 Memorial is a place worth visiting. In the original location of the Twin Towers in Manhattan, the memorial was designed by Israeli architect Mike Allard. The name of the design is "Lost Reflection", which means "Lost". It consists of two huge falling pools and memorial halls. The South Pool is at the South Tower site of the original Twin Towers, and the North Pool is at the North Tower site. The square pool made of granite flows continuously from the four walls with a rolling waterfall, which symbolizes the endless life. The black marble platforms on the sides of the pool are engraved with the names of 2,997 victims. On the platform of the Nanchi pool are the names of the victims who died in the south building. Similarly, the names of the families in the north pool are chosen by their families. There are illuminating lights on the big waterfall, and the yellow-tone light seems to ignite the waterfall and make the pool burn, reminiscent of the raging fire mourning the 9/11 incident. The light can shine through the names of the victims engraved in brass, which is also the memory of the dead. More than 400 white oak trees are planted on the spacious square between the two large pools. The oak tree is the national tree of the United States and symbolizes strong and unyielding. The last picture is the exterior of the memorial. In order to balance reconstruction and memorial, the main building of the memorial is underground, and the buildings surrounding the memorial are the reconstructed World Trade Center.
