chinadesk1Mount Victoria on the coast of Wellington is a large area with many entrances to the mountain. Mount Victoria is known as the lungs of the city. The mountains are covered with green plants and there are many ancient plants. A bird’s eye view of the coast from the mountain is very beautiful. There is a viewing platform on the top of the mountain. We went up the mountain on foot. There are bus stops and large parking lots on the top of the mountain. The locals walk their dogs, run, and ride bicycles. There are not many tourists. The air is fresh and it feels very good. There are no managers along the way and it is very clean. Pay attention to maintaining the environment on the mountain.

鸣少It is said that whale watching in Kaikoura is a lot of luck. The one we went there was very lucky. We booked the boat at noon. In the morning, we departed from Christchurch and drove about four hours to Kaikoura. After the ticket, we will wait for the captain to take us out to sea. As soon as we took the whale watching boat out to the open sea, we encountered a sperm whale coming up to take a breath. After it sank, we began to track its path and followed it for about 45 minutes until the sound detector could not hear any sound, Captain Said this means that it ended its foraging and began to float. It didn’t take long to see its figure again. The sperm whale had a strong sense of territory. Not long ago it drove away a sperm whale that was larger than itself. After all, its size is ours. More than twice as much as a ship, we can only observe quietly from a distance, and everyone does not dare to cheer too much. Although I could only see the back of the sperm whale all the way, I felt extremely shocked. After chasing the whales, we turned our heads and drove to Goose Bay. More and more dolphins appeared on the bottom of our ship. After landing, I was hungry. My daughter killed half of Kaikoura's local lobster by herself. It is indeed a well-deserved name. Not only the ingredients are fresh, but the taste is particularly good. This is not easy for New Zealanders.

At Wenderholm Regional Park in New Zealand. A great park with amazing facilities! This is a big location and it's just a few minutes away from the car park and the beach. For boats on site, there is a nice simple launch ramp. Lots of park-wide BBQs and campsites, with an old historic house as well. also a great place to walk with your dogs. #thanksgiving #mynovgetaway
At the Auckland Night Noodle Market. This Night Noodle Markets are pop-up market showcasing Asia's mouth-watering tastes but with a picturesque environment. They’re selling dumplings, curry, noodle dishes from every country, grilled BBQ meat and much more. I also love hoy pinoy. They’re selling authentic Filipino BBQ. #mynovgetaway #thanksgiving
At the Cathedral cove. It is a must-see if you are visiting the Coromandel peninsula. The last time we came here though, we parked on the side of the road and walked. It began to rain a while there and did not stop. Tropical, like! Were we ever so wet? But Cathedral Cove has always been fine. Nice beach, cliffs, coastline of interest, safe swimming, cayaking, etc. #thanksgiving #mynovgetaway
With its striking natural beauty, friendly citizens, and recent popularity due to its use as the filming location for the Lord of the Rings films (as well as many others), this island nation is one of the world's great places to visit. The biodiversity here is amazing-it's believed New Zealand was one of the last places on earth to have human inhabitants.
At the Auckland Botanic Park. beautifully built! many ways to walk and many different kind of plants and flowers to see. The whole garden is packed with indigenous birds. You will probably see it (going very slowly) in about 2 hours, but the day was so beautiful and the atmosphere was so good that we spent the whole day there. It's totally Easy, and if you get hungry, there is a cafe to buy snacks. #mynovgetaway #thanksgiving
