Nice's Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is a museum full of design sense, focusing on exhibiting modern and contemporary works of art, a modern building consisting of four marble towers, connected by glass channels, many internal products, it is worth recommending, it is one of several characteristic museums in southern France.
Nice Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is a museum full of modern art in Nice. There are many modern paintings and sculptures on display here, which are very abstract, but have a great moral meaning. Visitors can freely imagine what the author wants to express, especially worth visiting.
One of the best, if not the best for viewing modern in Nice. Exhibits include the patented blues of the Nice native Yves Klein and the mysterious sculptures of Niki de Saint Phalle. The rooftop views are spectacular and make clear why artists loved the light and colors of Nissa La Bella.
Lots of great contemporary art done by artists who have a connection to the Nice area. Niki de St Phalle, Yves Klein, among others. This museum was my first introduction to the artist Max Pignon Earnst, who is now one of my favorites. The rooftop is a nice place to see the city from as well.
The Museum of Modern Art and Contemporary Art, built on a hill, is a modern building full of the flavor of the times. The exhibits are mainly European and American avant-garde art in the 1950s. The gardens around the building are beautiful, and the top floor of the museum has a panoramic view of Nice. The opening time is from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. Free visit. Garibaldi Station on Track Tram Line T1.
Nice Contemporary Art Museum is a new art museum opened in the summer of 1990. It is a white modern building consisting of four marble towers connected by glass channels. There are bookstores and cafes inside. The Museum mainly displays the works of the 1960s and 1970s, including the works of Neo-realism and Nice School. There is no time or plan to go inside, but the appearance of this gallery is very eye-catching. We were first attracted by the square-headed sculpture on the roadside.
A very nice modern art museum. You can then after walk down either in the old town or in the garden at the bottom of the Museum
Your appreciation of this museum really depends on your relationship to contemporary and modern art, in other words, can a pile of rocks represent eternity. There were a few pieces that perplexed my husband and me, but we really enjoyed the Yves Klein, Niki de Saint Phalle, and the American pop art collection.
The Nice Museum of Modern Art is one of the main cultural attractions in town. There are numerous pieces of sculpture. I particularly remember the Robert Rauschenberg exhibits (one of which featured a car door from a Fort Myers Parks Department vehicle). The sculpture garden on the roof affords one of the best views of the city.
