About Ninghai: Ninghai is located in the eastern coastal area of Zhejiang Province. It has a long history. Attractions in the area include the Eastern Zhejiang Canyon, Ninghai Forest Hot Springs, as well as the Lianghuang Mountains, which was the first mentioned location in the famous ancient text, “Travel Notes of Xu Xiake.” A large number of famous people have historically come from Ninghai, including Fang Xiaoru, Rou Shi and Pan Tianshou. Many local specialties come from Ninghai. “Wanghai” and “Wangfu Yinhao” are nationally famous teas. Local seafood such as shrimp, mud snails and razor fish are also well known within China and internationally.
