The Olu Castle is a late castle in the Olu region of Finland, founded in 1590 on an island in the Olu Delta, originally built mostly of wood and dirt. According to the evidence, before 1375, the Olu Castle was located in an early medieval castle built earlier; According to the Russian "Sofia Chronicles", people from the Novgorod region wanted to conquer the castle in the Oulu Delta, but failed in 1377. The last time the castle was damaged was in 1793, when a lightning strike detonated the arsenal set up here. Beginning in 1912, the building has a cafeteria and a small exhibition of the history of the castle.

Oulu Castle was destroyed in the 18th century by the explosion of a gunpowder bank, and now it is a park on its site.
