Family time is the best place to walk a round and relax From Lockport half an hour drive you are at the Niagara Falls or if you go the other way there is a nice orchard to pick apple or strawberry when seasonal are in the place is called Becker farms All around there are nice trails where the whole family can walk and explore

Killarney Provincial Park

Silver Peak Trail is a 12.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail. Canoes can be rented from Killarney Kanoes at Bell Lake or from Killarney Outfitters. #mynovgetaway#thanksgiving

Sleeping Giant is a 2.27 km trail if I am not mistaken. Once you get to the to you will see the whole Superior Lake. Summer or fall it is beautiful up here #mynovgetaway#thanksgiving

Dundas Peak is my favourite to go for a hike in Hamilton. It is only about 20 minutes walk and when you get to the top you will think you are up north of Ontario. It is gorgeous! #mynovgetaway#thanksgiving

Farm was small but a nice place to go to for a half a day trip. I do find it more fitting for couples and girlfriends to go to and less so for family outings. The only reason I say this is because kids may find it boring as it's not very kids friendly, by this I mean no parks for them to play in or anything engaging for the little ones to keep them entertained. #mynovgetaway#thanksgiving
