"Hermann Park (Hermann park) Hermann Park is located southwest of downtown Houston, tree-lined, covering an area of about 165 hectares. The park is surrounded by Texas Medical Center, Rice University, and numerous museums. Hermann Park is a vibrant green park. The park is decorated with green grass, elegant lakes, colorful flowers, lush trees and creative sculptures. Every corner of the park is full of natural nature. Beauty makes people feel comfortable. Along the central axis of the park, there is a tall sculpture. The 19th-century American statesman, President of the Republic of Texas, and soldier Sam Houston rode a tall horse with his hands pointing to the far and gallant; reflection lake; and pioneer memorial obelisk. Sitting on a bench by the lake, staring quietly, the green water of a lake is spread in the middle of the park like a mirror. The water reflects the reflection of the forest on both sides, which will make you calm down and enjoy the surrounding scenery. The Miller Amphitheater is part of Herman Park, a large open-air performance venue. Various professional artist performances are held here from March to November each year, including music, ballet, dance, theater and screen movies, and all performances are open to outdoor seating for free. The theater is located under a gentle hill with green grass, surrounded by green trees on three sides, and the environment is extremely beautiful. It is not only a leisure and pure city green space, but you can also enjoy artistic influence here at some time. Houstonians can say that they have a soft spot for Miller Amphitheater."
