What travelers say:
I came here to grab some Ruby Tue Go upon arriving back in Orlando. I came here primarily because of a five dollar rebate on a popular app. The line was 14 deep when I arrived but most of the patrons were purchasing read-made salads or drinks. I ordered an Avocado Grilled Chicken Sandwich with the default fries. The guy taking the orders said it would take 20 minutes and asked if I was OK with the wait. I agreed since MCO baggage claim is ultra-slow anyway. After paying, I was given a receipt and told to come back in 20 minutes. Exactly 20 minutes later I did come back and was told the kitchen was backed up. He left his register and went back to kitchen only to return empty-handed. I was told to wait another 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, I was still waiting. After repeated trips back to the kitchen, the RT employee shrugged and said he had done everything he can do to get my order. I believe him - the problem here is obviously an issue of management, cooks and expediting food. After 45 minutes of waiting I was finally given my food, sans apologies. The sandwich itself was quite good. There was a grilled chicken breast on a soft roll with plenty of avocado. The fries were also crispy and hot. Most people in the airport are on a limited time budget. It is unacceptable for a to-go fly-by station to make a customer wait 45 minutes when promising 20. I barely got my baggage in time after waiting all this time to get takeout. I will not be returning to this location. There are plenty of other options.
