In the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Dotonbori is a wonderful temple that provides a bit of respite and peace. It would be easy to miss this tiny temple, but that would be a loss. Hidden in a maze of alley ways, and surrounded by shops and restaurants, this beautiful shrine has a sacred vibe. The temple is small and opens right into the alley, with it's famous moss covered statues. Visitors are collecting water from the fountain and pouring it over the statues, which is why the moss flourishes. Mizu-kake Fudo, an image of the Buddhist deity Fudo, the kami of fury is covered in moss after years of the water that is splashed on with prayers. It is interesting to see the shrine and temple next to each other almost utilizing the same space.

Fashan Temple walks a ~ to worship the Ming Wang. The temple is small and not big. It seems that everything can be prayed. Bye, you finally have to sprinkle water.~ Candle match incense is self-paying and self-collecting.
Fashan Temple is in an alley in the Dotonbori area. The biggest feature is that the Buddha statue is full of moss, but it is really small here. If you visit, you don't have to come here specially, but it is still very special.
Fashan Temple is a rare clean place in the noisy metropolis of Osaka City. People who come to pray need to pour water on the Buddha statue, and after years, let the water hang and grow moss. There are many traditional restaurants and izakayas along the road along the Fashan Temple, and the nostalgic atmosphere of Kyoto Predoku is preserved in the alley.
#Meng Chunwei.2016.03 Osaka Kobe Kyoto 8#Fashan Temple is very close to Dotonbori Food Street. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from Dotonbori. One end is in the alley and the other is close to the main road and Namba subway. It rains when there are almost no tourists. There are locals who worship religiously. Fashan Temple is very small, and there are many large white lanterns hanging next to the main hall. There is a small temple in the high-rise building. There is also a quiet temple in such a lot of land and gold. It is really rare. The drizzle gave Fashan Temple a layer of water light before praying. The right way to pray is to use the right hand to receive water to wash your left hand, and then use the left hand to receive water to wash your right hand. Bend and bow three times, clap your hand three times, and then bow three times.
The Ming Wang Fashan Temple was destroyed by war air strikes and rebuilt after the war. At present, only the Ming Wang and Jin Kunluotang are left in the water. Many people come here to pray for the King to bless his health, love and business. When praying, water will be poured on the moss-covered immobile king, it is said that the same part of his illness, you can get the blessing of immobile king.
I went there separately when I hung the lanterns at night and during the day. I also took a photo of the front of the whole body for the immobile king. As shown in the picture, it is said that the financial luck is very good, and there are many people who come at night. The small shop next to the couple Shanxuan bought red bean porridge to drink, so sweet. The body of the Ming Wang is covered with moss, quite cute, the alleys are very narrow, and the stone roads in the Edo era are not very flat. There are famous old shops on both sides, and the decoration is also unique.
The environment here is elegant, a place with beautiful scenery, a place to eat and drink Lazar is very good!
