Nothing special to see, nothing clear at night, entry 900 yen per person.
An eye-catching tower which can be seen almost anywhere around Shinsekai District for it used to be the second tallest tower in Asia. Standing proudly since 1912, it has become one of Osaka’s icons, which miniature and souvenir could be easily found anywhere at touristy area around the city. Mostly visitor comes to this tower whether for taking picture of each attractive shopping street in Shinsekai with the tower as a background or for saying some pray while rubbing the sole of Billiken’s feet at the tower observation deck. Whatever it is, I’ve always been the first type.
Awesome view of Osaka skyline
Tsutenkaku Tower was built by the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, and is a landmark of Osaka. You can take the elevator to the observatory at the top and enjoy the city scenery of Osaka. The fifth floor also houses the "God of Fortune", which can bless people to pass exams and get a good marriage. It is said that touching the soles of its feet will bring good luck.
