Herman_travellerI visited Queenstown for 5 days and wandered around the lake every day happily. it's a very beautiful and peaceful lake with many ducks and seagulls and people like to gather there in the evening.
pxy0705Glenorchy in Queenstown is a small town with very beautiful scenery. It is located on the edge of the lake, with large green spaces and one colorful wooden house. It seems that everything is so peaceful, natural, and here. The air is exceptionally fresh and it is definitely a good place for life.
232***65Very unique view on the top of the mountain. We were actually late for the reservation, the restaurant helped us to postpon our booking from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. We were very grateful for the assistance they offered, everything was great, great view, great foods and great people!

Queenstown is widely recognized as the most beautiful city in New Zealand and not only that, it is also one of the most photogenic places in the world for people to travel to! This city is one of the best location of the world to do sky diving, and this is the reason why we are here for this trip.
Suggestion of places to visit in Queenstown
Once you’re in Queenstown, there will be only one road driving to Glenorchy. It was a 40 – 50 minutes scenic drive from the main town to a scenic lookout – Bennets Bluff overlooking the lake, and it was mostly smooth driving for another 1/2 hour to reach Lake Wakatipu.
Glenorchy – Lake Wakatipu and a few stunning scenery in the Lord of the Ring. Lake Wakatipu was used for scenes involving Lothlorien, an ancient forest in the movie.
Twelve Mile Delta : A campside location on the banks of Lake Wakatipu is the location in one of the scenes where Frodo, Sam and Gollom watch the battle between Faramir’s rangers and Oliphaunts in the Lord of the Ring.
Another 2-hour drive to Clay Cliff – one of the natural wonders of the world and was slowly formed since million years ago. This is by far the most amazing landscape and rock formations i’ve ever visited and absolutely a great place to be if you are a fan of beauty nature. Rocks that were originally formed by the flow from ancient glaciers for more than a million years ago. The sun shines and lights us as we walk from the ground to climbing up with hands and legs on the rock anticipating what lies ahead.
The driving route to Claycliff is somewhat challenging due to the rocky and bumpy road drive for about an hour off the highway to reach the destination.
Queenstown is beautiful town rounded by mountains and amazing landscapes. There’s lots of things to do here! Moreover, it’s a fun city with good vibes. don’t miss it!
At the Glenorchy, a small town in the south of Ottago. Visiting this place is such a great experience. The road trip alone is worth our time. do stop and take your time appreciating the stunning views along the way. The lakefront is also a beauty to behold. I suggest to bring your food and have a picnic somewhere. It’ll be such a waste not to eat while immersed in the beauty of nature.
Around Queenstown central. This town surely have a lot to offer. You can go shop, dine and play. Crowds of people come by during the day. A lot of tourists too. Ate at a wonderful restaurant near the river. Visit if you ever come by Queenstown.
Breakfast in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Wanaka Town is just stunning. It’s natural beauty is exceptional. The Mountains, lakes, and forest are picture perfect. I wouldn’t mind waking up everyday to this view.
The Wanaka tree is a bit of a legend on Instagram, even having its own hashtag #thatwanakatree.
#awesomepic 🪂🪂Arrived at NZONE in Wanaka before 12 o'clock, located near Wanaka Airport. When determining the itinerary, skydiving is the first thing to do. It turns out that you really fall in love with the feeling of falling freely from high altitude, which is really cool. At that time, I thought I could jump directly at 12 o'clock, but then I found out that the ones that were ranked at 11 o'clock had not jumped yet. I bought a NZONE skydiving product online. When you arrive, first go to the front desk to register, then go to the projection room to watch a security video, and then fill in the information on the iPad. Only when the fast turn is up for you to jump, will you be charged for additional shooting. There are two types of shooting: a coach holding a gopro, and a third person to help you shoot. I chose a third person to shoot. After a little more, I was notified that it was our turn, and then I could switch the scene to the prepared area. Because the temperature will drop sharply after the plane rises, it is recommended that you still wear long-sleeved trousers and jumpsuits. Your own camera can be brought into the preparation area and can be stored in a locker with valuables after use. The moment he left the cabin, the wind fluttered the flesh on his face, and the flesh shook all over his face. Because I was afraid, I couldn't help screaming. Anyway, the sky was so big that no one could hear how loud I shouted. However, the essence of skydiving is just so few tens of seconds.
One of the most iconic views on the South Island of New Zealand: Roy's Peak. Travel tip: Start hiking at 4am if you want to catch sunrise on top of the mountain AND beat the heat (I couldn't image doing this hike under the hot sun).
