Spring time is the best time to go! Bring along your friends and families to visit the Peace Tower. Welcome to Ottawa!
Must-visit places in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Too long history, too much pride. If you want to visit, you need to book a tour online, otherwise you will not be able to enter. You can walk around the courtyard and take pictures.
When I went to Ottawa at the end of 2018, I saw the light show of the Parliament Building at the end of the year. It was really magnificent. A large group of New Year's Eve tourists gathered in the square. It was really a meaningful New Year's Eve.
The Peace Tower is 90 meters high and is a Gothic building with a stone and copper roof. On the Peace Tower is a 4.88-meter four-sided clock and a carillon composed of 53 bells that are played regularly. The most eye-catching show in front of the Peace Tower is the traditional British changing of the guard ceremony held every summer.
The Peace Pagoda is also a very interesting place here. The Peace Pagoda is also a symbol of a very typical thing. The Peace Pagoda is also quite interesting. You can visit many things here. Some things in the Peace Pagoda are quite fun. beautiful view.
Nice to look at but with renos not much could be said. If they could just remove the construction trucks I suppose it would be excellent
They are cleaning the exterior. My rating is purely because of the building being covered up. I'm sure it is a great spectacle to behold otherwise. Just be aware its covered up, see my attached pho...
The Peace Tower is the central portion of the Canadian parliament buildings. And of course, it has gargoyles, slightly below the bottom portion of the clock. At its top, flies the Canadian flag.
really cool touring experience, nice view, must see, cool history, definitely recommend, would be a good place to have a picnic in the summer, close to lots, within walking distance of may hotels
My grandfather died in WWII. I was very thankful to have the opportunity to be in the memorial chamber so close to Remeberance Day. An awesome experince.
