This was a lovely memorial and the statue of the soldiers and horses show the history of our country.
Out of respect I would recommend to all Canadians when visiting our nations capital. This symbol of those that have died for our freedom is beautifully done and in a beautiful setting.
I walk by this tomb on a weekly basis living in downtown Ottawa. Very serene location. Peaceful which is very appropriate considering what the tomb and the monument stand for.
Impressive and solemn monument. Visit just before the changing of the guards accompanied by bagpipes at the full hour. Check for changing hours in the tourism info.
