Virginia Parliament Building. The Virginia Parliament Building has been open since 1785 and was designed by Thomas Jefferson and others. To commemorate the victory of the American War of Independence, Jefferson ordered the French architect Charles to copy the building in Richmond in the form of a 16th-century Roman temple in southern France. The original design model is now on display inside the building, and visitors can visit it at will. However, because it was late, we missed the last admission time at 4 o'clock. We could only see the beauty outside. However, the entire Parliament Building Square was still open, and the surrounding buildings and scenery were good. It took an hour to walk around and visit. Still worth it
