Introduction
At the London Zoo in Regent's Park you will find the U.K.'s only population of hummingbirds. You can also expect to see lemurs, wallabies, African wild dog, parrots and polar bears at this park; which once housed specimens of the now extinct quagga and Tasmanian tiger. Over 20 different exhibits and features are at the park. This includes the Gorilla Kingdom and Clore Rainforest Lookout. This is also where you will find the world's first public aquarium. In fact, the word "aquarium" was created here when King George V opened what was previously known as an aquatic vivarium in 1924.

London Zoo is the oldest scientific zoo in the world and has an animal population of over 20,000 creatures. Split into different areas, it is the best day out for parents with children.
If your into zoos..I like to run in Regents Park and spy in on the camels and parrots and whoever else is out that day.
