What people are saying:

The museum has a rich history in Newbury and has recently been renovated. The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. There is a great video showing the history of different villages in West Berkshire for twenty minutes, shot with drones. There are a series of lectures and courses, as well as a small cafe with tea, coffee and gift shops.

One of the best local history museums I have been to.

Open 5/7 days from 11am to 4pm and free and right by the canal, bus stop, car park and library. Made from 2 Jacobean buildings - the cloth store and the corn store. Very good for kids with a variety o...
