"a must visit for the first timer in Oxford. time well spent. a well managed museum founded in 1683 and so many exhibits on display ranging from Chinese dynasties, Egyptian mummies to contemporary art. Contributions from all parties play a significant part in preserving this wonderful museum"

"The Oxford Museum of History of Science is located in an old building completed in 1683, the site of the Ashmore Museum, which was built in 1924, it has a dual mission, both for the study of the history of science and the development of Western culture and collection. The museum is divided into three floors and is attached to a library dealing with the history of science. "It contains thousands of objects from ancient times to the early 20th century, and almost all aspects of the history of science, especially astronomy, such as the astronomical collection of astronomical charts, corona, quadrants, early mathematical tools, optical instruments, and chemistry." The collection of natural philosophy and medical related devices is very impressive."

"For a free museum it’s definitely worth a visit with the highlights being world civilisations and history but other parts left a bit to be desired for us.Would recommend checking out the exhibits and if they interest your group then do go down!"

"Their application does not work. The iOS and Android versions are not working. It seems like those apps had been developed many years before, nobody is supported now. There are some QR-codes that link to the site which is not available as well.Highly not to recommend to visit."

"Walk to the city hall located below the high street. Walking into the open city hall building, on the small front hall wall, I saw the coat of arms representing the city of Oxford, a very ordinary buffalo. Oxford’s name is said to come from this, and it vividly tells people that Oxford was originally the history of the “land of cattle wading” formed by herders driving cattle and wading. The office area upstairs in the city hall is not open to the public, visitors can only look at the scenery upstairs from the stairs. The open area on the first floor of the City Hall is only a museum and a cafe. The museum covers a small area, but it has a big name and is called the Oxford Museum. The pictures, texts, and actual photos show the history of the development of Oxford city. In a limited corner, there is also a scene of government staff working. At the end of the 15-minute tour of the city hall indoors, the main reason is that the text is unclear and many things are not understood."

"The Oxford Museum of Modern Art is located next to Westgate Shopping Centre, an old brewery on Pembroke Street. This is a fairly small space, from the endless Baroque sculptures to the ancient stones that can be seen everywhere around Oxford, most exhibitions are controversial."

"The Beit Musical Instrument Collection is a group of charming musical instruments, located in the center of the Conservatory, with free audio equipment. Perhaps the most impressive is the harp collection. The pianist will also play a harpsichord, and some musical instruments visitors can also play it."

"Christ Church Gallery is located in the noisy city center. When you walk into the gallery, you will feel the tranquil literary atmosphere, a great contrast experience! The paintings here are all exquisite, with soft lighting, and very professional gallery! Recommend~"

"The Abington County Museum is a charming medieval cottage. The house is very beautiful, the place is not crowded, there is only a souvenir shop. The local church is worth seeing, even if you are not a religious person, it has an amazing history and beautiful stained glass windows."
