Photos of Hierapolis Archaeology Museum

This museum next to the ancient city of Hierapolis, housed in an original Roman bathhouse, has three parts: one is a huge sarcophagus, one is a collection of artifacts found at Hierapolis and the nearby Afrodisias, and one is from Reliefs (friezes) and Roman statues of the Academy of Afrodisias. Among them, the statues of Attis, the lover of the goddess Cybele, and the priestess of the Egyptian goddess Isis are particularly exquisite.
