Se Cathedral

The Grand Holy Church is also an ancient church with more than 400 years of history in Goa. Its architectural style should be regarded as baroque. Because the maintenance is not in place, the exterior walls of the church are a bit worn out and the interior space of the church is large. There are also some cemeteries next to the church, but many are already a bit deserted.

The Great Hall, which has been history for more than 400 years, has become one of the tourist attractions, and the antique European style of buildings is another. The decorations inside the church are all materials from European countries, precious antiques and exquisite sculptures are the characteristics of the church.

The Old City of Goa and the largest church in Asia, built in 1562, its white exterior walls and interior decorations are quite simple. The gold-plated screen behind the altar depicts the life and tragic end of St. Catherine.

It is located on the Seven Capitals, named after the "blessed" Baylor, the king of the monks who presided over the construction of it.
