[Pompidou Center] Le Centre Georges Pompidou This modern art center was established in 1989, and is currently one of the most popular museums in Paris, and in addition to the many kinds of modern art pieces that are displayed within it, what has drawn even more reaction from visitors that the museum building itself is a work of postmodern architectonic art. Looking from far away, you can immediately distinguish the different functional systems of the building by their colors. Floors 5 and 6 of the art center is the National Modern Art Museum, and displays the surrealist and cubist artistic treasures of France collected over the last 100 years. I have never had the ability to appreciate these kinds of artworks, but the museum also includes many light and shadow works of art that have always attracted me. You will definitely want to go to the rooftop veranda, where you can better appreciate the cityscape of old Paris.
