What people are saying:

The French Chancellery (Martignon House) is the office of the French prime ministers. It was built in 1719 and was the first official residence of nobles. In 1944, Charles de Gaulle used it as the seat of the Provisional Government of the French Republic. I visited it on World Heritage Day. There were far fewer people in line than the Presidential Palace. The garden was very beautiful.
