Just inside the entrance to the Gardens Tuileries stands this marble statue, ( created by Louis Auguste Leveque, 1866), the goddess of the Hunt Diane (Roman mythology), showing affection to her dog.
This sculpture of Diane, Roman Goddess of hunting is made of white Carrara marble. She's standing with her dog close the octagonal basin of the Tuileries garden and is a good photo op.
Lovely statue made in white marble at the begining of the gorgeous park. Very detailed artwork, especially of the dog.
