    Just go to the Castle

    You don't go there ti visit the church but to see the castle. The church is not worth mentioning. But as I said you're already there. So give it 5 minutes.

    Wooden Church

    A tiny little wooden church by the Turaida castle and Rose of Turaida grave. So pretty inside. We were very lucky to get inside as it was a Sunday and other people found it to be locked.

    Beautiful Lutheran Church

    Shows the simplicity of the early wooden Lutheran churches. Nice to see inside and out. Close by the headstone of the Rose of Turaida.
