GLS***79Lovely sanctuary with lively caged creatures as well as open farmyards. Great for kids as the animals are gentle and used to petting. Plan to go either at 9 am or 1 pm as the showtimes are split into half-days.
E31***57The zoo is Small enough in a good way that you can visit in half a day. the variety of animals are great, the bird show however is not as great as it sounds. There is tiger, tasmanian devils (always sleeping), seals, meercats, giraffes, alpacas, free running chickens, sleepy kangaroos and koalas etc. Access to the zoo is easy, just catch a ferry at the pier, we got from pier 26 caption cook cruises. regular enough that you dont have to prebook.
