Chandigarh’s main claim to fame when it comes to tourist attractions is the Rock Garden. Created out of waste (broken ceramics, glass bangles, glass bottles, and more) over a period of several decades, the Rock Garden is arranged in such a way that you follow a definite path to visit it all. The path meanders past displays of figurines, castle-like structures, high walls and so on, all of which give the impression more of a sort of trek through the ruins of a castle dotted across a forest. Some of it is more than a little weird, with odd contortions and strangely misshapen forms.
