philipzkBago Golden Reclining Buddha Temple is located in Bago City, Bago Province, Myanmar, more than 2 hours' drive from Yangon City. The Golden Reclining Buddha Temple is one of the most important temples in Bago. You must take off your shoes and socks to enter the tour.
徐团Bago is the ancient capital of the Mon people in ancient Myanmar. Today, the most important town in Myanmar is the capital of Bago Province in Myanmar and the ancient part of the Mon people. In 1369, the Baigu Dynasty moved its capital here to Yeyu. From the 14th to the 16th century, it was the center of Buddhism throughout Myanmar. Although it is small in size, it is a must-visit town, and Gein has many "Myanmar's best". From the 14th to the 16th centuries, it was once the cultural center of Myanmar. We visited Ramadow Golden Pagoda Temple, Kanbang Sadir Palace (Old Palace), and Jakwin Thousand People Monastery in Bago, all of which are pretty good attractions.
philipzkBago Golden Pagoda Temple, which is called Ramado Golden Pagoda Temple, is located in Bago Province of Myanmar. It is the tallest pagoda in Myanmar, 114 meters high, 14 meters higher than the Yangon Golden Pagoda, but not as large as the Yangon Shwedagon Pagoda.
徐团The Sadir Palace in Bagoganbang, commonly known as the Old Palace, was the residence of King Toungoo in the 16th century and was later destroyed by war (the palace exhibits many teak wood remnants from the old palace buildings). The current building was built by the Myanmar government in 1992 following the reconstruction and repair of the old palace. After years of continuous expansion, the large-scale old palace complex has finally been built, which is a famous tourist spot in Bago. The palace is golden, but according to reports, it is not covered with gold leaf like the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Reclining Buddha in Yangon, but only painted in gold. Although the palace is still being gradually restored, the existing buildings and environment are still worth seeing.
多多Mandalay is my last stop in Myanmar, so I think there is really no need to go to see the pagoda. Went here with a few other people who didn't know this at all, but wow... there must be something else! It's nice to see the snake bathing in the morning. The locals love it!
玉连The elegant Shwedagon Pagoda is Yangon’s most famous landmark. The massive 99 meter high gold plated pagoda with the diamond studded spire set on top of a small hill in downtown Yangon dominates the area and is visible from much of the city.
